Services: Rodent Control

At Swat Total Pest Control we treat for rats, mice, shrews, moles and voles. Fortunately, in the suburbs, we don’t do as much rat work as we used to do. We believe that’s because there are not as many farms, crops & livestock. Where there used to be farms, there are now townhouses & housing developments! If needed, we also treat for the Norway rats which are known for living in close association with humans.

Most of the rodent control that we do is for treatment of the house mouse and the white footed mouse along with voles and moles outside around the mulch.

After we receive a phone call from the customer, we’ll start collecting information about the rodent problem, for example, sightings, droppings, chewed items, etc. We will have a service technician come out and inspect your troubled areas. Usually, we use a baiting process. All products we use are put in tamper resistant containers that contain the bait. We put these containers in areas that are away from children and pets. We also treat directly in rodent burrows that are outside, if needed.
